Long-Term Serious Only
About Me:
I've always been in a creative environment: design, software, interiors, technology, photography ... I like having my own businesses and thrive on the mix of optimism, ingenuity, and risk.
I've had a broad education, close to people in dance, music, theatre, and modelling who were kind, affectionate, cultured, and CONTEMPORARY in style, attitudes, dress, and language. And interested in the arts, sciences, nutrition, the environment, astronomy, galleries, animals … it's my 'normal'.
I've had a lot of affection and romance so don't want a relationship with someone who has separation or bonding issues, or an ex controlling their life. Being a casual cinema-date or a travel-mate or a beach-walker won't cut it. I want a complete, full, and varied relationship with an interactive partner.
It's not about chemistry - everyone knows that this sometimes only lasts a month. Nor sparks - which drift up and fade into the night sky. Nor shared interests. Nor a misleading FaceBook 'look' (I was a photographer). And why do we believe we have a 'type', and then just repeat the pattern: until death us do part. I want to meet someone different.
I can't engage with prejudices, pet-hates, accusations, celebrity gossip, daytime TV, obsessive music niches, and fad-diets.
In social environments, we usually accept people: some conversation, then it's coffee, dinner, the cinema, a weekend away, and air tickets: real people in real places doing real things.
On net-dating, everyone skips over people because of one little thing: another brick in our own wall. In real life, that would soon leave us socially isolated. And, if I walked the streets with a photo and a profile, I'd be avoided as a freak and be date-free.

My child is 14: smart, clued-up, and affectionate. I like being a father: it's the simplest thing. I have a converted extended cottage, with a field of horses behind. It's three minutes from a market town on the river, and fairly near the sea. And there's our dog ...
