I am a DOD-certified/Defense Language Institute-educated former Japanese military intelligence linguist (NSA-grade/JLPT N1; in other words, I am professionally proficient in reading, writing and speaking). I am also a U.S. Government-trained print journalist (Seeing any patterns yet?). Presently, I am pursuing a major in international business with a political science minor at my beautiful little school in the Smokies: Maryville College!

I am thankful to the Divine for affording me such a blessed life. I always try to meet Him halfway. So far, with one salient exception (my divorce), it's been a winning practice! I love God, my country and all of my brothers and sisters in this world! We are all apart of each other! :-)

I'd like to think that what I am best at is maintaining and further cultivating a sincere spirit of gratitude as well as a capacity to love and empathize with all of my brothers and sisters about me.

This life is fleeting. . . So painfully fleeting. . . What's most important? Keep asking yourself that! Is it money? Is it a fancy-sounding title? A big house? A red sports car? A wall covered with diplomas? A passport full of stamps? As for me and my house, it's love, sincerity and truth. In the final analysis, should it not be in our homes, our families that we find this life's paradise? I, for one, feel so. . . :-)
