I was married to a Korean wife for 53 years. She died of Pancreatic Cancer in June 2016. I learned many Korean social customs, History and Culture, and developed an appetite for Korean foods, especially Kimchi which I eat in four meals a day. I am having to buy Kimchi in gallon jars at $19.95, 110 miles away in an Asian Foods store. I also miss my other Korean foods, i.e. Teriyaki and Bulgoggi. I eat Rice with Gochu-chung and Margarine about 3 times per week.
I have been to most parts of Korea. I served two 2-year military tours at Osan AB and Yong-Dong Pu (Korean Air Force Headquarters), and visited Panmunjom several times, driving bus hauling dignitaries there, as well as Kangnung. Busan, Suwan, Pyongtaek, Munsan, Kimpo, Yoi-do and Seoul, Inchon, Kangwha-do.
I enjoy Natuturism, Square Dancing, Nature. Weather permitting I wear the Scottish Kilt and Scot culture is very important to me as a member of the MacFarlane Clan. I have 3 college degrees, in Social Science, Theology, and Paralegal, and certification as Certificated Driver License (Heavy truck driver), and Correctional Peace Officer (Prison Guard).
I believe that I have a lot to contribute to a younger wife that may wish to settle with a white gentleman that is very Korean savvy.
